*Faints*

Stephenie Meyer's releasing Breaking Dawn quotes from July 12 until August 2! Eeeeeeek! :D There's two pa lang and I'm already gaga.
July 12
Alice: "I'll play you for it. Rock, paper, scissors."
Edward: "Why don't you just tell me who wins?"
Alice: "I do. Excellent."
July 13
Bella: "Oh, Mike! How will I go on?"

oh happy day. NOT!
It’s Thursday. Another sucky day in Pasig. Pffft.
Kuya and I left home at around 9am (car-less since Mr.Fordy is a bit sickly daw these days), and I arrived at the office at 10:36. Daym. That’s one and a half hour from Greenwoods to Cybergate 3 in Mandaluyong, a good hour spent in Pasig alone! Under normal circumstances, my travel time SHOULD only be 30 to 40 minutes tops, 15-20 minutes if there’s absolutely no traffic. But then again, the traffic in Pasig is sooo far off the normal mark that it’s already insane. And if that construction thing in C5 doesn’t get finished soon, I’d probably look 20 years older by the end of this year because of the kunsumisyon. Hay. Heavy traffic and it’s sister-problem—the scarcity of public vehicles to accommodate my ass—makes my blood boil faster than, well, Willie Revillame.
And then there are the bastos manongs. Can’t a girl walk down the street or stand under a waiting shed without getting lewd remarks shouted at her every 30 seconds? Okay, so I’m wearing shorts today, pero it still happens even if I’m in jeans so you can’t really blame the wardrobe. It’s super shitty how men—especially trucking men who by far are the worst—treat women while they’re out on the streets. Shitty, egg-less creeps. Palibhasa they can easily step on the gas and make a run for it when a girl decides to fight back and make him go blind with her payong’s deadly tip. It’s during those times that I wish I had the power to inflict pain using my mind ala-Jane—one of the not-so-nice vampires in the Twilight saga. From afar, I’d make them feel as if they’re balls are being crushed, their butt cracks being prodded with a curtain rod, the size of the ones in our sala (simultaneous torture ito ha). Then maybe they’ll learn to keep their mouths shut. I’m not even gonna go on discussing the exact phrases I get from ‘em. They’re really bad, I tell you.
Oh well. At least I made it the office alive today, so I guess I can stop ranting and be thankful no one ran me over on the way. Nakakainis lang talaga.
*Happy thoughts… happy thoughts…*
P.S. Ayun, here’s a happy thought. Joanna and I (and hopefully with Russ & Elijah) are gonna watch HSM on Ice tonight at Araneta. I’m so eksayteeed! :P I wish I brought my camera though. Argh. But I guess the cam-phone will hafta do! comments

'Scuse me while i plug

OK!'s July ish is out na! Aren't you just lovin' our Jen Aniston cover? :D I know I'm so gaga about how gorgeous Angelina Jolie is, but I so looove Jen (save for the fact that she's bedding John Mayer..eek). We have kissing photos of them, by the way, if that's what you wanna see. Plus, fab paparazzi shots of cuties Suri & Shiloh and oh, Prince William and other hot males in uniform! Uh-huh.
And if you still haven't gotten a copy of our June issue (my debut ish!), puh-lease grab one too. My cheeky face is there! Haha. But if that isn't reason enough, I did a four-page feature on Gossip Girl fashion in that ish and yes, you'll love me for it (teehee, love your own!). Basta, the whole ish is so purrrty so grab it na rin while you're out. In impoverished times like these, it's best to really choose where you spend your hard-earned money on--and you know you can't go wrong with a healthy dose of Hollywood tsismis, right? Right. :) So keep yourself in on the tsika thread and grab your copy now. :P Wops.

Whatever, yaya.

Conversations with my beloved five-year-old cousin, Sabine:
Scenario 1: While in the car, on the way to Clark, Pampanga.
Me: Look, Sabine! (me pointing at Mt. Arayat)
Sabine: What?
Me: Look at the mountain... or is that a volcano?
Sabine: . . .
Me: So what do you think? Is that a mountain or a volcano?
Sabine: (matter-of-factly) A mountain.
Me: Why? How did you know?
Sabine: HELLO!?! It's big!!? (with mataray, know-it-all conviction)
Car bursts in laughter.
Sabine = 1 point. Ate Elaine = 0. (Ops. Tablado!)
***I googled Mt. Arayat just a while ago and found out it was a volcano. Ha! Wait til I confront her about this.
Scenario 2: In the car, parked in front of Mercury Drug at Kapasigan. Waiting for Kuya.
S: BJ's so tagal. Right?
Me: Yeesss...
S: Haay..
Me: Zzzz..
S: Hey, what's the english of so tagal?
Me: Hmmm....
S: Super duper tagal??
Me: Nooooooo!
Scenario 3: In my room, right after I bathed and dressed Sabine.
Me: O, you're done na. Go downstairs to Dada.
S: Okay! (S walks to the door)
Then she stops, turns her head to me, slaps her own butt while saying: Boom, baby!
Me: WTF!?!!?
Haay, I love this kid. comments

my gawd.
can you believe it took me more than a year to re-set up my blog? all because i couldn't get satisfied with the boring smoring templates available. arte kasi. so it was a very, very good thing that i stumbled upon this awesoooome site with absolutely supeeeerb blog layouts—each and every to-die-for masterpiece ready for the taking, free! now i'm totally excuse-less not to blog. and i'm thinking of changing my blogskin every month. no, every week. weee!
---
GUESS WHAT.
it's our last day at summit's galleria office today. on monday, we'll be devil wears prada-ish at last (i hope) in our brand new window-filled, infestation-free cybergate office. now, if only i could focus on the prospect of sitting at my new beautiful desk instead of pondering about my just-got-worse commuting life, i'd be totally excited. promise.
